Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring that pre-crisis and crisis plans are effective and clinically sound.

• Document client interactions and treatment plans promptly and accurately, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational protocols.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate treatment efficacy and adjust plans as necessary in collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans designed to foster healthier coping strategies for clients.

• Engage in ongoing licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.

• Act as a liaison with service systems, state agencies, and community partners, coordinating care and establishing vital connections for our clients.

• Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders to foster collaboration and enhance the agency’s impact within the community.

• Build relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to create partnerships and identify potential funding sources for program expansion.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on seniors who are experiencing various challenges associated with aging, including those coping with grief and loss, major life transitions, and addiction-related issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive care that respects the dignity and individual needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• At least 4 years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in geriatric counseling and mental health support.

• Specialized training or certifications related to geriatric mental health and aging-related issues is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, with potential for future salary adjustments as skills and contributions grow.
