This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining high standards of client care. While the core hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, there may be occasions when evening or weekend work will be necessary to accommodate client schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, representing the agency in relevant discussions and initiatives.

• Seek professional development opportunities by attending workshops, conferences, and contributing to committees relevant to geriatric mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with an aging population, offering support to seniors dealing with loss, significant life changes, and addiction issues. Our clients often face unique challenges related to their mental health, necessitating a counselor who is not only skilled in addiction recovery but also deeply empathetic and culturally aware.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited university or institution.

• A valid and current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

Compensation and Benefits\n
