Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions through various modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Engage in individual, family, and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions and promoting emotional expression while ensuring a safe space for clients.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards of practice while constantly prioritizing client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
