Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history and mental health, enabling a tailored approach to each individual’s treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address clients' addiction challenges and underlying mental health issues, using a holistic perspective.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, such as physicians, case managers, and nursing staff, to provide integrated and comprehensive care.

• Offer education and support to families of clients, fostering their understanding of the recovery process and involving them in the treatment journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on individuals battling substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. Your work will significantly impact clients’ rehabilitation journeys, providing them with the tools to develop healthy coping strategies and work towards sustained sobriety. You will address a wide array of psychological concerns, helping clients navigate the complexities of their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of substance abuse treatment and addiction counseling techniques is preferred, alongside evidence-based practices for dealing with co-occurring disorders.

• The ability to build rapport and develop therapeutic relationships with clients is essential, as is the skill to motivate them towards their recovery goals.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to facilitate teamwork and client interactions.
