Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide personalized mindfulness-based interventions to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing overall well-being, specifically using Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client-specific stressors and therapeutic goals, ensuring tailored mindfulness practices for each individual.

• Lead individual therapy sessions, integrating mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, fostering an enhanced self-awareness and emotional regulation in clients.

• Organize and facilitate engaging group workshops and classes centered around mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques, and strategies for resilience in daily life.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals to infuse mindfulness methodologies into a holistic treatment framework.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and individualized treatment plans to ensure accountability and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied client population that includes individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• Strong knowledge of integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create a reassuring and empathetic therapeutic atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in providing mental health counseling, preferably in outpatient settings.
