Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, with a particular emphasis on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients aiming for improved mental health and reduced stress levels.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify individual stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, subsequently tailoring mindfulness practices to those specific needs.

• Guide clients in engaging with mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques that foster self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate both individual therapy sessions and group workshops focused on mindfulness techniques, stress management, and strategies for building resilience.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to create an integrated treatment approach, incorporating mindfulness practices across various therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress in mindfulness interventions, and updates on treatment plans, using an electronic health record system.

• Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice, reflecting on your methods, and engaging in professional development opportunities, including training in advanced mindfulness techniques.

Your primary clients will range from individuals dealing with anxiety and stress to those seeking support in managing chronic mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to create a supportive, calming environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly desirable, although not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
