Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver specialized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to the specific needs of each client, for effective stress management and enhanced emotional regulation.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors and therapeutic goals, creating personalized treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness practices.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during individual therapy sessions, fostering self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops that introduce mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies, encouraging participants to explore and develop their own coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care, integrating mindfulness practices into comprehensive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various stress-related disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals reclaim their mental health through mindfulness techniques, emphasizing the development of self-care practices that they can utilize long after therapy sessions have concluded.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Florida.

• Strong foundation in mindfulness practices, with experience in MBSR preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to create a supportive therapeutic environment, characterized by strong communication skills and empathy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
