This position is designed as a remote opportunity, allowing you the flexibility to work from your own environment while remaining a critical team member. Although remote, our therapists remain connected through regular virtual meetings, collaborative case discussions, and ongoing training sessions, ensuring a supportive and engaging work atmosphere. Our outpatient office, located in Fremont, California, serves as a hub for our therapists, offering occasional in-person collaboration, team-building activities, and training workshops.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver a range of mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, catered to individual client needs to assist in stress reduction and increased overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, mental health challenges, and therapeutic goals, adjusting mindfulness practices as needed.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques, actively promoting self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, resilience-building strategies, and personal development.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, applying these methods to address specific mental health issues optimally.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to establish an integrative approach to client treatment plans.

• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment outcomes.

• Commit to regular personal mindfulness practice and pursue ongoing professional development to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in MBSR and related modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Finding Path Psychological Center, you will primarily serve adults experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and life transitions. Our clients value holistic approaches and often seek therapy that incorporates mindfulness to cultivate a greater sense of peace and purpose in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Preferred background includes specialized training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) but is not mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying mindfulness techniques within therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to cultivate a nurturing and supportive therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
