Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR techniques, to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing their mental well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients’ stressors, personal goals, and challenges, and customize mindfulness practices accordingly to meet their therapeutic needs.

• Skillfully guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing practices designed to promote relaxation, self-reflection, and emotional clarity.

• Facilitate dynamic group workshops focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and building resilience, encouraging community engagement and support.

• Integrate mindfulness strategies into one-on-one therapy sessions to provide targeted support for clients’ specific mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach that integrates mindfulness practices.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to monitor client progression and effectiveness.

• Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to advance your expertise in mindfulness-based approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrable understanding and proficiency in mindfulness practices with an emphasis on integrating MBSR methodologies into therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
