Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and inform individualized treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience, employing best practices in trauma therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address patient needs effectively.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and enhance their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to deliver integrated care that addresses the psychological, emotional, and physical needs of patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive prompt care in critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and appropriate coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.

• Maintain precise and confidential electronic documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and learning.

• Stay informed about advances in trauma therapy through professional development opportunities and ongoing research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and various forms of psychological distress. You will work with diverse patients, each with unique backgrounds, challenges, and experiences, making cultural competence and empathy essential skills for this role. Your expertise will directly contribute to nurturing their resilience and improving their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed approaches, and resilience-building strategies.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with digital therapy platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and compassionately, fostering rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically in trauma-focused therapies.

• Experience delivering evidence-based trauma interventions, such as EMDR or TF-CBT, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
