Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs of each client entering our substance use treatment program.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions that empower clients to address behavioral patterns and develop effective coping strategies.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions, offering participants the opportunity to share their experiences and support one another in a safe environment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine professionals, and case managers to ensure seamless integrated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support during substance-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery resources, and community support systems to foster a deeper understanding of the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with all ethical and legal obligations.

• Actively participate in clinical team meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development activities to stay informed on the latest treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focal point of this role is to support clients facing substance use disorders, a demographic often combating challenges such as stigma and mental health co-morbidities. You will work closely with individuals who come from diverse backgrounds and may also include families of clients, thereby enhancing the overall impact of treatment through collaborative family engagement.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• Prior experience working with clients diagnosed with substance use disorders is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field.

• Experience with group facilitation and developing integrated treatment plans.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
