Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document clinical assessments from the initial consultation through to treatment conclusion.

• Develop tailored and evidence-based treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on specific clinical findings.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to best meet the needs of clients.
\n
• Monitor client progress by regularly reviewing treatment goals and modifying plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive care for hospitalized clients.

• Assist clients in identifying and preventing behaviors that may hinder their recovery, employing proactive strategies.
\n
• Support family members and caregivers in managing the complexities of mental health challenges within the home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base across various demographics, addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. By employing a holistic and empathetic approach, mental health counselors will make significant contributions toward improving patients' emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselors Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated ability to engage with clients compassionately and effectively, fostering therapeutic alliances.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, promoting clarity and understanding in varied interactions.

• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing electronic health records, with experience in systems such as AVATAR being a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of professional experience as a mental health counselor, with a focus on telehealth services being highly desirable.

• In-depth knowledge of addiction and dual diagnosis disorders, along with familiarity with the latest therapeutic best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Hands-on experience addressing the psychological impacts of physical health conditions.
\n
• Prior exposure to collaborative healthcare teams to enhance integrated care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
