This full-time position will focus primarily on addressing the unique needs of individuals affected by trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather patients’ trauma histories and assess their treatment needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and emotional health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate group therapy to foster community support among patients and help them learn and practice coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated, holistic care for each patient.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies through telehealth channels.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, including progress notes and treatment plans.

• Participate actively in case consultations, professional development sessions, and ongoing training focused on trauma-informed care.

• Commit to staying current with evidenced-based practices and innovative research in the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and other crises. The therapist’s work is crucial in guiding clients through their emotional barriers, helping them reclaim control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• Two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, focusing on trauma-informed therapeutic practices.

• Deep knowledge of trauma-related disorders and competence in employing trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and engaging effectively with clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and respect for clients' experiences.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, providing clients with reassurance and stability.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and adeptness in using digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience in trauma therapy, specifically with modalities like EMDR and TF-CBT, and demonstrate a history of successful patient engagement. Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
