Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and co-occurring issues.

• Developing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience and promoting trauma recovery.

• Providing therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate processing of traumatic experiences and the development of coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, peer support specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for your clients.

• Responding to crisis situations with immediate support and intervention, employing de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed practices.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and professional ethical standards.

• Participating in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including adult survivors of childhood abuse, veterans affected by combat experiences, and individuals coping with complex personal histories. Your clinical approach will be centered on fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes trust and openness, essential in facilitating client healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure in Washington State as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed therapies and a solid understanding of resilience-building techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
