Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and histories.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery and resilience through evidence-based interventions.

• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients during their therapeutic journey.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care.

• Providing crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and emotional support.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, available treatment options, and coping skills to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with privacy regulations and ethical standards.

• Engaging in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance interdisciplinary communication and care strategies.

• Continuing to grow and develop professionally by staying informed about the latest research and practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By providing individualized attention and treatment tailored to each client's unique experiences and needs, you will play a vital role in their journey toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• A proven ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and a proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with substantive experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be highly regarded. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated success in utilizing evidence-based modalities in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Family Matters Care Consultants offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a welcoming compensation package, we provide:
