Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide trauma-informed counseling to clients, utilizing your expertise to deliver individualized, evidence-based therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families who come from various backgrounds and experiences. Our focus on trauma-informed care means you will be equipped to support clients dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship difficulties. The integration of faith-based principles provides an additional avenue for support, allowing clients to navigate their healing processes in a context that resonates with their beliefs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is required.

• Strong knowledge of the Bible and Biblical counseling techniques.

• Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Washington, or within 200 hours of completing residency.

• Experience or interest in obtaining dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland is preferred.

• Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is desirable; candidates must be willing to pursue this training within three months of hire.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to counseling.

• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in all client interactions.

• At least one year of experience in trauma counseling is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
