Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ mental and emotional health, taking into account their medical history and existing medical conditions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate psychiatric interventions with medical management, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, employing evidence-based therapeutic methods to foster patient progress.

• Collaborate effectively with medical providers to ensure coordinated care, sharing insights and updates to optimize treatment outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to clients facing mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients on the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them to actively manage their well-being.

• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges, particularly those with comorbid medical issues. This requires a nuanced understanding of how various conditions intersect and affect overall health, making your role vital in facilitating comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington.

• Demonstrated experience working with clients who have co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on building rapport with clients.

• Ability to navigate and uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all professional interactions.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and various computer applications to enhance practice efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
