Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and trajectories towards healing.

• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can safely process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and work towards healing.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient support.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients during trauma-related emergencies, using de-escalation techniques and empathetic communication.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support systems.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, ranging from PTSD to complex dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
