The position is a full-time role that provides flexibility through remote work, contributing to a healthy work-life balance. Our team typically operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening shifts required on a rotating basis for client scheduling. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, ensuring accurate identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Work in partnership with clients to develop customized treatment plans integrating evidence-based interventions, designed to address the unique complexities of their situations.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on empowering clients with coping mechanisms, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated treatment approaches.

• Monitor clients' substance use on an ongoing basis and utilize motivational interviewing methods to foster commitment to the recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of continued treatment adherence.

• Maintain precise documentation of client progress, interventions, and referrals, complying with both ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and training sessions to remain current on best practices for treating co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You will work with a diverse client population, including those facing acute crises, chronic conditions, and varying backgrounds, providing tailored therapeutic interventions that foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holding a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Colorado.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies, specifically tailored to address co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong foundational knowledge of how mental health and substance use disorders interact.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience working with co-occurring disorders.
