You will primarily work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours required on a rotating basis to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, ensuring the identification of appropriate co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to devise personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions aimed at addressing mental health and substance use challenges.

• Carry out individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in developing essential coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation tools.
\n
• Work integrally with our multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure that all aspects of a client’s treatment are seamlessly coordinated and delivered.

• Monitor substance use through regular assessments and apply motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the critical relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adhering to treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment methodologies, and progress in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing training, case conferences, and staff meetings to enhance skills specific to co-occurring disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing mental health challenges alongside substance use disorders. This includes adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds encountering various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. By providing specialized care, you will help clients navigate complex recovery pathways and ultimately enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices tailored for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A solid understanding of the interconnectedness between mental health issues and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, exhibiting the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
