Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through video consultations, creating a welcoming environment for clients to discuss their mental health concerns.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs and preferences, leveraging evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
\n
• Utilize electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation throughout the treatment process.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress toward their therapy goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to create comprehensive intervention strategies.
\n
• Guide families and caregivers in understanding and managing the complexities of mental health issues, providing education and resources as needed.
\n
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in psychotherapy and mental health counseling to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will enable you to provide meaningful support to clients from different backgrounds, all while fostering a therapeutic environment that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong understanding of both physical and emotional health conditions as they relate to mental health treatment.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records to track client progress and ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—allowing for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a capacity for empathy and understanding in client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing telehealth services or working within a remote counseling setting.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices per the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Familiarity with the effects of psychiatric medications and their roles in mental health treatment.
\n
• Experience with addiction therapy and dual diagnosis cases.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a signing bonus for qualified candidates.
