Key Responsibilities\n

• Delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on recovery from substance abuse and managing co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds, mental health histories, and specific challenges.

• Developing comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that are regularly updated based on clients’ progress and feedback.
\n
• Engaging actively in case consultations with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance the overall treatment plan and ensure clients receive well-rounded support.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities suited to each client’s unique situation, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Documenting all sessions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system to track progress and maintain compliance with regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with substance abuse issues and mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Clients often come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, and many have faced significant barriers to receiving adequate care. By employing an empathetic, culturally competent approach, you will create a safe environment for clients to openly discuss their challenges while guiding them towards recovery and healthier life choices.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• A current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent).

• Proficiency in telehealth technology and virtual therapy platforms.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health setting or working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to dual diagnosis treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
