Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to accurately evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, facilitating the identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with client families and in-house professionals to craft individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions designed to address both mental health and substance use needs.

• Deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Work alongside psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, synchronizing care to provide integrated and holistic treatment tailored to each client.

• Engage in routine substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients' commitment to their recovery journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about the dynamics of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of consistent treatment and support.

• Document and maintain accurate treatment progress records, interventions, and referrals, adhering to ethical and legal standards throughout the process.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapy modalities pertinent to treating co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Comprehensive understanding of the interrelation between mental health and substance use issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
