Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions utilizing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy techniques as required by each client’s needs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records using our clinical software while complying with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in weekly clinical supervision and team meetings to collaborate on treatment strategies and continue professional development.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, responding promptly to clients facing immediate behavioral health challenges.

• Educate clients about mental health conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment plans, fostering a partnership for optimal health outcomes.

• Participate in community outreach efforts aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and available services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Joy Filled Life, your practice will include a diverse patient population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families dealing with a variety of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with clients in outpatient settings, providing tailored therapeutic interventions and fostering resilience in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.

• A valid California license (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT) to practice therapy independently.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing MS Office and clinical software for documentation and treatment tracking.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 120,000, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
