This position will operate primarily in a telehealth setting, leveraging technology to offer therapy sessions remotely through secure electronic platforms. As a member of our team, you will enjoy a work schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ histories and determine appropriate treatment methods.

• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique path toward recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in processing trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to share experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and timely support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about understanding trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources to support recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring meticulous record-keeping for each patient.

• Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and professional development workshops, focused on strengthening trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will work with have experienced trauma, representing a diverse population that includes survivors of abuse, accidents, military-related trauma, and those coping with complex psychological issues. Your role as a mental health counselor is crucial in helping these individuals reclaim their lives, develop healthy relationships, and cultivate resilience against future challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT, or PsyD in the state of Maryland.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, showcasing proficiency in trauma-informed treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
