This telehealth position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with patients in College Park, Maryland, from the comfort of your home or preferred location. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs. Flexibility in your schedule will enable you to meet the varying demands of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological well-being of patients and determine the most effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs and diagnoses of each patient.
\n
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to address patients’ emotional concerns, foster personal development, and enhance coping skills.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in developing a comprehensive care strategy for patients.
\n
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide critical support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them towards recovery.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical standards, and best practices.

• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals dealing with a wide array of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid and current license as an LCMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Excellent assessment skills, with a proven ability to create effective treatment plans based on thorough mental health evaluations.

Preferred Experience\n
