Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, which inform clinical diagnoses and the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities during individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting approaches to meet the distinct needs and goals of each client.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes, adhering to ethical and legal standards to protect client privacy.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure delivered care is holistic and integrated.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community support resources, while advocating for their rights and needs.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in mental health therapy through continuous training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups from varied backgrounds and experiences. You will address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your compassionate approach will help clients feel understood and empowered as they navigate their journeys toward improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to formulate and implement effective treatment plans.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in community health, is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year.
