Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to gather information about client concerns, backgrounds, and goals, which will guide the formulation of personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions, applying tailored therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, or solution-focused brief therapy, depending on each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to the evolving needs of clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients in distress, ensuring their safety and offering emergency resources as needed.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care approaches for clients.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, using electronic medical record systems to document progress notes and treatment plans efficiently.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and supervision, remaining abreast of new therapeutic practices and ethical considerations in mental health counseling.

• Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance program development and improve service delivery within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse community of clients facing various mental health challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
\n
• Proficient understanding of the therapeutic process, with a demonstrated commitment to ethical practices within the mental health field.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of experience working directly with individuals managing emotional and mental health challenges is preferred.

• Experience in conducting telehealth sessions and familiarity with electronic medical records systems is highly advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic rapport with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• A commitment to upholding cultural competence and providing affirming care for all clients.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on building collaborative relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience. Counselors working with us will also receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their personal well-being.
