Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing counselors to connect with clients through secure video conferencing or teletherapy platforms. Our work environment is designed to support our clinicians' professional development and well-being through regular team meetings, peer consultation groups, and access to various continuing education resources. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address specific mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to assist clients in achieving their personal growth objectives.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and community outreach coordinators to ensure holistic treatment.

• Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives to enhance clinical competencies and stay updated with the latest mental health practices.

• Contribute insights and feedback to refine patient care protocols and service delivery for continuous improvement at our clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, with a broad range of mental health concerns. As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults, helping them navigate their unique challenges. You will engage with clients who may be struggling with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and family dynamics, all within a supportive, client-centric framework.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working directly with individuals facing mental health challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients and facilitate therapeutic relationships effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and teletherapy software is an advantage, although not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
