Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient.

• Deliver short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services that address a wide variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate weekly therapy groups and workshops that cover topics vital to patient well-being, encouraging personal growth and resilience.

• Partner with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and develop effective discharge plans for patients.

• Engage in outreach and education initiatives to promote mental health awareness in the community, helping to destigmatize mental health challenges and encourage early intervention.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Counselor at Raze Therapeutics, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to adults facing various mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in addressing the complexities and nuances of mental health issues in a counseling or clinical setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to create a trusting therapeutic relationship with patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and brief therapy models suitable for outpatient settings.

• A proactive and organized approach to managing a diverse caseload while prioritizing patient needs effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a hospital-based counseling setting or outpatient mental health environment is highly desirable.
