Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours based on client scheduling, maintaining a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use issues, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders to inform treatment plans.

• Collaborate closely with each client to develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions, addressing both mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with vital coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques necessary for sustainable recovery.

• Work in coordination with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques and conduct regular substance use monitoring to engage clients actively in their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families on the intricacies of how mental health and substance use disorders interact, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment and support systems.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatment progress and interventions while adhering to ethical and legal standards related to client confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida is required.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies specifically designed for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), is highly desired.

• A strong understanding of the relationship and dynamics between mental health and substance use disorders is crucial.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or therapy, particularly with a focus on co-occurring disorders, is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
