Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews and maintain thorough documentation throughout the therapeutic process, from initial consultation to completion of treatment.

• Assess and evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to guide effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue and healing.

• Monitor and assess client progress against treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers to design cohesive intervention plans.

• Follow up with psychiatrists and general practitioners involved in the care of hospitalized clients, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

• Identify, address, and prevent maladaptive behaviors that hinder the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselors Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor with a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Competence and experience in dealing with co-occurring physical and emotional issues, along with addiction disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
