Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work location while still engaging closely with patients. As part of our outpatient office, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to holistic care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support throughout their therapy journey. Although remote, a structured work schedule is maintained from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, to promote consistency and accessibility for our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  Diagnose mental or emotional disorders using established criteria, ensuring an accurate understanding of each patient's condition.

  Educate patients about stress and trauma coping mechanisms, empowering them to take an active role in their healing process.

  Facilitate resources and support systems that enable patients to achieve their personal goals related to mental health and well-being.

  Collaborate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to facilitate comprehensive care and address any additional needs patients may have.

  Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated on the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma injury patients, who may be coping with PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, and other related mental health challenges. This client population often requires sensitive, individualized approaches that consider their traumatic experiences and the resultant emotional landscape. By addressing these complex issues, you play a crucial role in fostering healing and promoting mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
