Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to meet with patients in a comfortable setting, whether that be your home office or our outpatient space in Hialeah, Florida. You will have the opportunity to establish lasting relationships with clients while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals who value collaboration and shared goals in providing trauma-informed care. Our working hours follow a standard Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments, engaging in detailed discussions to evaluate patients' histories and help shape tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and promoting resilience in patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for patients to process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and pursue healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support in high-pressure situations or trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources available to support recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical guidelines in mental health practice.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest best practices in trauma therapy.

You will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• You must possess a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, reflecting your experience and contributions to the team.
