Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to deliver care from a conducive environment while maintaining our high standards for patient interaction. While paperwork and patient assessments can be conducted from home, frequent communication with colleagues and coordination with various healthcare providers are essential. Regular hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with mental or emotional disorders to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Meet regularly with trauma injury patients to listen to their stories, assess their challenges, and establish effective coping strategies to facilitate progress.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and supportive counseling, to promote mental well-being.

• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance their effectiveness.

• Educate patients and their families about coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Coordinate efforts with social services, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education courses, maintaining the required National Certified Counselor certification and staying updated on best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
