This remote position allows flexibility while enabling therapists to maintain access to our well-established outpatient office for in-person meetings and team collaborations. Working hours are primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some schedule adjustments may be needed to meet patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's history and tailor treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at resilience-building and trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for patients to explore their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate integrated care for the best patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will encompass individuals seeking support for trauma-related issues, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of trauma-related disorders.

• Proficiency in the utilization of electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
