Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health status.
\n
• Formulate individualized treatment plans that include specific therapeutic goals and strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide regular therapy sessions, both individual and, when appropriate, group-based, equipping clients with coping strategies and tools for overcoming challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and stay updated on the latest research in mental health treatments to provide effective care.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to confidentiality protocols.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, demonstrating calmness and expertise in high-pressure situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals struggling with diverse mental health issues, including, but not limited to, substance use disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. Understanding the complexity of these challenges, you will apply culturally competent approaches to effectively connect with and support clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctoral) are preferred.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a track record of effective patient care.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy with a focus on inclusivity and responsiveness to cultural dynamics.
\n
• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to remain composed during challenging client interactions.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software tools.
\n
• Commitment to ethical clinical practices and maintaining confidentiality with patient information.

• A collaborative mindset, supportive of interdisciplinary teamwork.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
