Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determining effective treatment paths.

• Developing and executing personalized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery and the building of resilience in patients.

• Providing evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet the individual needs of your clients.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that support patients in processing their trauma and developing coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a safe and responsive environment.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available to support their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve engaging with diverse populations, particularly individuals grappling with the repercussions of trauma. These may include survivors of abuse, military veterans, and individuals experiencing acute distress following traumatic events. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal, empathetic, and communication skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and patient-centered approach to care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations, ensuring the well-being of clients and yourself.

Compensation and Benefits\n
