Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technologies to facilitate counseling sessions. Counselors will leverage advanced electronic health record systems including AVATAR to manage client documentation, treatment notes, and progress tracking. Working in a telehealth format offers counselors flexibility while ensuring that they remain integrative team members through regular virtual consultations and collaborative treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments through virtual sessions, documenting client history and mental health concerns from consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate and monitor clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health continuously throughout their therapy experience.
\n
• Design and implement individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored for a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
\n
• Regularly assess client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on collaborative feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including mental health specialists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop strategies to preemptively address these challenges.

• Offer support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers, providing them with strategies to manage mental and behavioral challenges effectively.

The clientele at Growth and Grace Counseling Center encompasses a wide array of individuals facing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction. Counselors will engage with individuals as well as families, recognizing the systemic nature of mental health issues and the importance of a supportive environment for healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Achievement of a passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrable proficiency with electronic health record systems and direct experience in a telehealth setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of addiction disorders and associated mental health challenges.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacological treatments and their interactions as prescribed by healthcare specialists.

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• A compassionate demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with a diverse population.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, ideally within a telehealth framework, is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and standards is preferred.

• Experience in conducting group therapy and managing therapy groups effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, newly hired counselors will qualify for a sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
