Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ trauma history and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience-building for each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients' specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to guide patients through their healing process, helping them develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring holistic support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate care.

• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with the latest research and treatment modalities in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with the effects of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within Pennsylvania is required.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Capacity to remain composed and effective in high-stress environments.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
