Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from your home while being part of a dynamic outpatient office environment. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling required to meet the needs of your patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand the patients’ backgrounds and therapeutic needs, facilitating appropriate referrals and interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that leverage the agency’s extensive resources in evidence-based practices tailored for trauma recovery.

• Utilize established methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their trauma, develop vital coping strategies, and ultimately promote their healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support and therapeutic guidance during emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.

• Deliver educational resources to patients and families regarding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, fostering a supportive home environment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve are primarily individuals affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients often face significant personal and social challenges, necessitating a sensitive and skilled approach to their care. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their healing journeys, ultimately aiming to enhance their quality of life and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to implement trauma-focused therapies and to demonstrate patience and empathy when interacting with patients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and establishing therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Skills to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, showcasing resilience in your own work practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency with technology to enhance patient care delivery.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a unified approach to mental health treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
