Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the unique histories and needs of each patient.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and strengthening resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an open dialogue for patients to process their experiences and learn new coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapeutic professionals to ensure integrated care and a multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment.

• Engaging in crisis intervention when required to respond effectively to trauma-related emergencies.

• Providing educational resources to patients and families focused on understanding trauma responses and available support mechanisms.

• Documenting all patient interactions accurately, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in weekly case consultations and team meetings to share insights, enhance skills, and discuss best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve are primarily adults and adolescents experiencing a variety of trauma-related disorders. Our clientele often includes those suffering from PTSD due to various circumstances, including military service, domestic violence, or significant life changes. Your efforts will directly impact these individuals' ability to manage symptoms, rebuild relationships, and improve overall functioning.

Qualifications\n

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we encourage all qualified applicants with a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapies to apply. Knowledge and experience with EMDR and TF-CBT techniques will be regarded favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n
