Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while working with a supportive team of mental health professionals. The outpatient office setting fosters collaboration with your colleagues, including psychiatrists and other therapists, ensuring an integrated approach to client care. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variation to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to analyze patients' trauma history and create tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote emotional healing.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and foster resilience.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists, fellow therapists, and other professionals to enhance patient support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and cared for.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources, empowering them to manage their mental health.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment progress.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on developing trauma-informed methodologies within our practice.

• Consistently update your knowledge of the latest research and best practices pertaining to trauma therapy, implementing those in your sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have suffered trauma, guiding them toward recovery. This includes clients facing PTSD, complex trauma syndromes, and dissociative disorders. Your therapeutic techniques will provide a safe structure for them to address their emotional challenges while facilitating individual growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania is required.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate and empathetic demeanor toward clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, focusing on trauma therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
