Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through individual sessions, identifying areas of concern and determining appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address each client’s specific needs, encompassing various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, employing evidence-based practices and culturally responsive techniques to guide clients in their healing journey.

• Monitor clients’ progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and providing ongoing support, resources, and referrals to other healthcare providers when needed.

• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including those struggling with mental health issues stemming from various backgrounds and life experiences. You will have the opportunity to support individuals facing challenges related to substance abuse, eating disorders, and mood disorders, among others. Our ideal candidate understands the importance of cultural competence in therapy and is skilled in delivering inclusive care that respects each client's unique context.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in the mental health field, demonstrating expertise in a variety of therapy modalities.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to create collaborative relationships with clients.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering rapport and trust with clients from varying backgrounds.
