Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and increasing resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to enhance clients' coping mechanisms.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional processing, trauma integration, and recovery skills.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to ensure holistic, coordinated care for clients.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, offering empathetic support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their support systems about trauma's effects, coping strategies, and available resources for recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular professional development through case consultations and ongoing education focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including military veterans, survivors of abuse, and individuals facing life-altering events. By providing trauma-informed therapeutic strategies, you will help clients navigate their journeys toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly within trauma-focused therapy.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, including familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Experience implementing specific trauma-focused therapeutic interventions is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a non-judgmental, compassionate therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Capable of maintaining composure in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative approach, effectively integrating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with in-depth knowledge of resilience-building techniques, as well as those who have undergone training in specific trauma modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT, will be at an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
