Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect therapists with patients. Our therapists operate within an outpatient model, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments based on patient needs. We provide robust technological support to facilitate smooth therapy sessions, ensuring you have the tools you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' history and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and symptom management.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid patients in processing their traumatic experiences.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping patients with coping strategies and facilitating their healing process.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for assistance.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and adhere to legal and ethical standards in patient care.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, which may include veterans, survivors of abuse, and those dealing with significant life changes. Your focus will be on helping these patients navigate their complex emotions, fostering an understanding of trauma, and building resilience through therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic modalities and interventions is highly desirable.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Able to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
