This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work setting while still fostering a sense of community among team members. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and establish appropriate, individualized treatment plans.

• Implement and monitor personalized treatment strategies aimed at promoting trauma recovery and building resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate therapeutic progress.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create an integrated care approach that addresses all aspects of a client’s health and well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and effective assistance.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively engage in case consultations and participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma disorders, and dissociative disorders. The clinic's mission is to support clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care tailored to their unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a commitment to maintaining a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
