Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role leverages telehealth technology to provide flexible therapeutic services to clients across various locations. You will conduct sessions from your home or preferred space while engaging in a capable, supportive team environment. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. The ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems will be essential for documenting therapy sessions and managing client progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather thorough patient histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, incorporating modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process trauma, learn coping skills, and develop mechanisms for resilience.

• Maintain continuous communication and collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care to our patients.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources for additional support.

• Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, upholding confidentiality in patient records.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations and team meetings to share insights and contribute to developing best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, integrating new findings into treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is required.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and supportive approach.

• Ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations and build therapeutic alliances with patients.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and ability to efficiently handle digital documentation.
