Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, recognizing their distinct needs and personal objectives.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as indicated to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care that addresses both mental health and physical health needs.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies.

• Ensure that all documentation is maintained accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards, to protect client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Tidal Therapy Services, you will work primarily with adult clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will engage with a diverse client base, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique cultural, social, and individual circumstances of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
