Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with patients from the comfort of your own home or preferred work environment. While the primary work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, some evening shifts may be required to meet patients’ needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to identify their unique needs and develop tailored treatment goals.

• Create individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adjusting as needed based on patient progress.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to aid patients in understanding and managing their addiction.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support, sharing of experiences, and the fostering of coping strategies among participants.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies, utilizing your skills to de-escalate situations and ensure safety.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, and the various resources available in the community.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and opportunities for professional development to remain informed about the latest research and treatment methodologies.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Strong understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment practices, and recovery-oriented care principles.

• Proven experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions in the context of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to care.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and other computer applications necessary for documentation and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
